외래 경구 항생제로 플루오로퀴놀론 항생제를 선택할 때,
* 시프로플록사신, 레보플록사신
* 시플로플록사신은 500 mg bid, extended release 1000 mg qd, 레보플록사신은 750 mg qd
* 치료 기간은 5-7일
입원시 IV로 사용하게 되면 400 mg bid
When a fluoroquinolone can be used, ciprofloxain or levofloxain are the most common agents. Other less commonly used fluoroquinolones that are effective for UTIs include ofloxacin and norfloxaicn. Moxifloxaicn attains lower urinary levels than other fluoroquinolones and should not be used.
Appropriate regimens include ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily, ciprofloxacin 1000 mg extended release once daily, or levofloxacin 750 mg once daily. Fluoroquinolones are given for five to seven days.
