Gonadotroph and other clinically nonfunctioning pituitary adenomas에서 프로락틴 상승
- Mass effect에 의한 프로락틴 상승
Macroadenomas는 종종 pituitary stalk을 누르고 프로락틴 생산 세포에 대한 정상적인 inhibitory hypothalamic influence를 차단하여 혈장 프로락틴 농도를 적당하게 상승시킵니다(일반적으로 100 ng / mL 미만이지만 때로는 200 ng / mL까지 높기도). Nonfunctioning macroadenomas가 있는 226 명의 환자를 대상으로 한 연구에서, 혈청 프로락틴 농도 > 94 ng / mL는 lactotroph adenomas와 nonfunctioning adenomas 사이를 믿을만하게 구별시켰습니다. 드물게, gonadotroph adenomas는 프로락틴과 gonadotropins을 동시에 분비합니다.
